Books

Books I Have Read

Reading books is always an interesting and fascinating aspect of our society. We are reading printed work that can inspire us and influene the way we think and react to things in our daily lives. Throughout many years, many themes, tropes, and symbols you see in works of literature can still be relevant to this day. Many of us while growing up at one point have read something that really speaks to us. For me, there are certain books I have read over time that stand out to me.

Growing up, my favorite books to read were Dr. Seuss books like Green Eggs and Ham. I also like reading Garfield books. For comic books, I like reading Marvel comic books such as Spider-Man. For magazines, growing up, I liked reading video games magazines like Nintendo Power and Game Informer. I've read some novel books as well, one of my favorites that stood out to me was Amber Brown is Not a Crayon. I read that back in 2nd grade.

The Official Pokemon Handbook

I remember owning this The Official Pokemon Handbook as a kid. I got it back during the Pokemon Mania era. I have fond memories of reading it a lot. A lot of kids in my elementary schools loved this book. For Generation 1 Pokemon fans, it was basically like the Bible for Genwunners.

Garfield Takes Up Space

Growing up I read a lot of Garfield books at the library, especially the first 20 Garfield books. Garfield Takes Up Space has always been one of my favorite Garfield books.

Things That Go Eek on Halloween

For Things That Go Eek on Halloween, I remember reading that Aahhh!!! Real Monsters book in the library. I was also amazed by Krumm's character design and found it funny how he covered himself with toilet paper.

Green Eggs and Ham

How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

All by Myself

For Green Eggs and Ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and All by Self, I read these books a lot when I was little. They had these books at school and at the library. The character designs fascinate me and I find the stories told within these books very appealing and relatable.

Amber Brown is not a Crayon

The Pigman

I read Amber Brown is not a Crayon during 2nd grade. I always found Amber Brown cute when I was little along with this girl named Irene from the book Brave Irene which I read during the 2nd grade. I read The Pigman for a book reading assignment back in the 8th grade, the story was deep and taught important good morals.

Toyfare (1997 Book)

For the Toyfare 1997 book, I read that book a lot when I was little. I was interested in collected a lot of toys growing up. I remember seeing pages with Pokemon toys that made me interested in this book.

How to be a Successful Cartoonist

How to be a Successful Cartoonist by Randy Glasbergen is a fascinating book to read in order to learn about how the entertainment industry works and how to be successful in the industry. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Romeo and Juliet

I first heard of the story of Romeo and Juliet when I was in elementary school. I read it a lot when I was in high school. Romeo and Juliet represent the embodiment of star-crossed lovers and there are many different versions of their story today. That said, I prefer the book version the most.

Hamlet

I also read Hamlet a lot when I was in high school. Just like Romeo and Juliet, there are many different versions of Hamlet today. I also prefer the book version of Hamlet compared to the other ones.

Writing a Book

Obviously, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to write a book, especially a novel book or a novel book series. I always liked the idea of writing a book because you have the opportunity of being not only an entertainer, but also someone who can enlighten your readers as well as sharing your perspective. If I ever write a book one day, the first book I will write is my autobiography. Other topics of interests are novel books, books about industries like the video game industry and entertainment industry. Also, I think it would be nice to write children's books one day. Not only that, but writing books about fascinating topics like time and space would be great. I also think writing a book about the human cognitive mind is important and how utterly important it is to keep it always healthy. The possibilities are endless!
