Personality
Growing up, I was shy and sometimes had trouble looking people in the eyes. I was a quiet kid at school who had a creative mind. I have Aquarius as my star sign and anyone with that star sign are said to be creative. I am also someone who is a critical thinker and likes to look at different sides of the equation. I am someone who likes to tell the cold hard truth instead of sugarcoating things. I am someone who values hard work and efficiency. Not only that, but also I have a sense of humor and I am into witty one liners. Also, my hazel eyes compliment my affectionate personality. My main mantra in life above everything is to have fun, I just want to have a good time all the time and live life to the absolute fullest! I am also anti-capitalist, politically independent, and I have a rebellious nature. I also have a great memory and great attention to detail.
Hobbies & Interests
I like to play video games, draw, and watch television. I have also tried painting before. I like to watch cartoons, anime, animated shows, and animated movies. I also like to watch live action shows and live action movies. My favorite genres as it relates to video games are platforming, RPG, action, adventure, and sports. My favorite genres as it relates to entertainment are comedy, action, and adventure. I'm an artist that likes to draw and do graphic designs. Not only that, but I also like to research and collect important data. I have been lurking around the internet for years, as one of my nicknames is "The Guy with Multiple Different Accounts" and I have visited hundreds of different websites over the years, from popular websites to more obscure ones.
One of the things I enjoyed doing at a young age was camping. It's always been one of my favorite recreational things to do growing up, it's great for the mind, body, and spirit. I first went camping when I was 10 years old, during the fourth grade at E. Pole Elementary School, I went to a camping program called Nature & Me around the middle of the 2004 year. Me and many other fourth graders participated in the Nature & Me program for 4 days and 3 nights. During the summer of 2008, I attended Camp Ramsbottom and did lots of camping activities there while winning a bunch of awards. Also, I learned to ride a bike around the age of 8. I started with a tricycle and then a bicycle. I had a BMX bike and then I had a Mongoose bike. For years I had fun bike riding and I also would sometimes visit places while riding a bike whether it was a restaurant or a video game store.
One of my other interests growing up has been watching YouTube videos especially during the "Broadcast Yourself" era of YouTube, which was the Golden Age of the website. I would watch cute videos like Keyboard Kitty and Grumpy Cat. I would also watch comedic videos like YTP videos, Pingas videos, and videos like Chad Vader. Not only that, but I would watch videos as it related to video games and gameplay. The old era of YouTube was so fun for me growing up. I hadn't really made a lot of videos during that time. But, I would watch a lot of fun YouTube videos and sometimes comment on them. My YouTube usernames back then were "SuperBlueDude" and "toonmonkey" as an alt account. My YouTube usernames today are "Michael Mitsis" and "Mitsis Studios" and I like to talk about things that are related to video games, entertainment, sports, recreation, and society.
I have also shared an interest in reviewing things, back in the mid 2000's, I used to review cartoons at a website called TV.com, it was at one point called TV Tome, and now the website is currently defunct. TV.com was owned by a media company called Red Ventures. My TV.com username was "Cartoon_Dude" that I used to review cartoons. I would review long-running cartoons like SpongeBob SquarePants and cartoons that were new at the time like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I was typically a glass-half-full type of guy as a reviewer, especially considering I was a young and naive kid attending middle school around the time I was reviewing cartoons at TV.com. Today, I use IMDB to review shows and movies, my username is "michaelmitsis16" and I like review things objectively.
I also love listening to music, my favorite type of music is soundtrack music; video game soundtracks, soundtracks for animated intellectual properties, television show soundtracks, and movie soundtracks. I also like rock and roll music. As it pertains to generations, most of my favorite soundtracks and songs are from the 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's. I like to sometimes watch sports and my favorite sport is football. My favorite football team is the Green Bay Packers. I am also fascinated by science as well as time and space. My favorite food is pizza. I also like ice cream, cheeseburgers, chicken, baked fish, salmon, turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cherries. My favorite drink is usually water, sometimes I like to drink sparkling water, lemonade, raspberry iced tea, or ginger ale.
Where I Grew Up
I am Michael Mici, also known as Michael Mitsis. I grew up as an American in the state of Massachusetts and spent most of my life here in Massachusetts. The state of Massachusetts is also referred to as the spirit of America. I am used to dealing with cold weather here, especially when it's winter. Also, Massachusetts is notorious for its high taxes which is why people like me also refer to it as Taxachusetts. While I grew up here, I attended preschool, kindergarten, the Boys and Girls club, Chamberlain school in the 1st grade, Bennett school in the 2nd grade, E. Pool school in the 3rd grade and 4th grade, Parker middle school in the 5th, 6th, and 7th grades, TCMS in the 8th grade, Coyle Cassidy as a high school freshman, and Taunton High School as a sophomore, junior, and senior. After graduating Taunton High School in 2012, I attended Bristol Community College for several years, then I eventually graduated there with an Associate's Degree in 2018. Then I attended Bridgewater State University for several years, and then I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in 2023. Now, I am living the dream and have been enjoying years of independent freelancing. I want to have a great influence in the video game industry as well as the entertainment industry.
What the 1990's Were Like
The 1990's were a fun time to be a kid. My most early childhood memories are from the 1990's. I enjoyed playing with toys when I was little as well as action figures, plushes, legos, and duplos. I collected items like Pokemon cards, VHS tapes, and video game cartridges. I remember when CRT TV's were a thing. Whenever I went to school I enjoyed recess and doing recreational activities. My favorite thing about the 1990's was how much video games evolved during this era. The 1990's were a great decade for 2D gaming. Many great franchises like Donkey Kong Country, Sonic the Hedgehog, Star Fox, and Pokemon started in this era. You also had iconic games like Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, the original Super Smash Bros. game, A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Kirby's Adventure, Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Red, Pokemon Yellow, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, GoldenEye 007, Doom, and Super Metroid all released during this era. Not only those games, but the list goes on and on. Not only did video games evolve, but also the animation industry evolved. Even though lots of 1980's cartoons like the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been fun to rewatch growing up, a lot of 1980's cartoons were typically existed to promote toys. Then came the 1990's and we got iconic shows like Batman and Gargoyles. We also got SpongeBob SquarePants, well... okay, that show is considered more of a 2000's cartoon, but the it did technically start in 1999. I also recall actors like John Stamos and Pierce Brosnan being famous during the 1990's. They were synonymous with 1990's culture just like how Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger were synonymous with 1980's culture. I used to play all my favorite video games, and watch all my favorite cartoons, shows, and movies on a CRT TV a lot when I was a kid.
What the 2000's Were Like
The 2000's were a fun time to be a gamer. I also visited the cinema's with relatives a lot during this era as well as restaurants and places where you can have fun like carnivals and theme parks. Think of games like Sonic Adventure 2, the Tony Hawk games, and Jet Set Radio, those games represent the embodiment of 2000's culture. This era was a fun time to mess around and have fun with friends while hanging out at places like your town's local mall, the cinema, or a place like Blockbuster. The 2000's still had its obvious imperfections like the pointless affairs in the middle east, but at the same time, this decade was still better than the modern era. Collecting DVD's was huge for me during this decade and that was a popular thing to do. My memory also recalls when iPods and flip cell phones used to be a thing. This decade was also famous for frat boy bands and people expressing being rebellious during this era. Whereas the 1990's were a great decade for 2D gaming, the 2000's were a great decade for 3D gaming.
What Life has been like since 2010
Modern society in a nutshell, has been trending towards this downward spiral. The early 2010's were alright for me, even though in hindsight the decline of society started there and even arguably around 2008, I still enjoyed the early 2010's at least on some level though because my Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl XLV in 2011. Also, in the 2010's, I spent years playing emulated games, and years watching cartoons, shows, and movies from older decades especially if they're from the 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's. the later 2010's is when everything started to get politicized, and quite frankly, the rest is history. Nowadays, many companies in the entertainment industry care more about getting a good ESG score than producing relatable shows with relatable characters. Thankfully, smaller independent companies will produce great work now and then like Yacht Club games did with Shovel Knight. You also got good cartoons like Glitch's The Amazing Digital Circus, which is a fun, wacky cartoon that doesn't take itself too seriously and quite frankly doesn't need to.
Ranking the Decades

Here is my ranking of every decade since the one I was born in which was the 1990's.

Here is a ranking of every year since the one I was born in.
Places I Visited
I visited lots of interesting places growing up, whether it was during a field trip or going on vacation. I visited places like Roger Williams Park, the Museum of Science in Boston, and also the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. I visited an aquarium as a kid and also a circus. I visited Six Flags multiple times. I visited Cannobee Lake Park when I was in eight grade. I also visited the United Skates of America when I was in the eight grade. I visited stores like Target, Walmart, K-mart. I visited Rick's music store a few times when I was a teen. I visited Classic Pizza lots of times. There's multiple Classic Pizza's in America. I visited Henry's Root Beer stand as a kid when getting back from sometimes visiting the beach during the summer; that place isn't around anymore. A bunch of times around the mid 2010's me and relatives would eat at Simon Says which has been a great breakfast place to go to but that place isn't there anymore in Massachusetts. I used to visit the Silver City Galleria Mall a lot growing up and sometimes would watch interesting movies at Regal Cinemas. I remember there was a carnival near the mall that I would sometimes go to with friends and relatives. I remember at Regal Cinemas which was at the Silver City Galleria Mall there were these Arctic Thunder arcade machines and it was lots of fun playing them.
Schedule
As it pertains to my schedule and daily routines. During the weekdays, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, I usually like to do stretches early in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon. The weekdays are usually the days where I am working. During the weekends, Saturday and Sunday, I like to have fun, do something recreational, and sometimes visit places on occasions. On the weekdays and weekends, I brush my teeth and shower early in the morning and at night before I go to bed. I usually have breakfast around 8:00 am - 10:00 am, I usually have lunch around 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, and I usually have dinner around 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, if I am in the mood, I might have desert on occasions after dinner. In the past, I must admit I have sometimes done things unusually like have cereal or eggs in the evening, have pizza in the morning, or have ice cream in the morning.
